Song Festival Concerts

The song festival consists of two different concerts. The opening concert, following the ceremonial lighting of the song festival flame and featuring a selection of choirs, takes place on Saturday, July 5th.

The grand concert of the song festival will be held on Sunday, July 6th. Various choirs, wind orchestras, and symphony orchestras will perform 40 musical pieces during the concert, which lasts approximately 7 hours. Both concerts will take place at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds (https://www.lauluvaljak.ee/en), outdoors, so spectators should be prepared for various weather conditions. Umbrellas are not allowed as they obstruct the view of other spectators.

The procession in the center of Tallinn and the folk music concert (on July 4th at Vabaduse Square in Tallinn) are free events. They can be attended free of charge.
