On Friday, June 27 at 12:00 PM, an additional small batch of tickets for the “Iseoma” Song and Dance Celebration performances and concerts will go on sale.

A few hundred tickets will be released for both the opening and main concerts of the Song Celebration. Tickets will also be available for the Dance Celebration’s dress rehearsal as well as its first and third performances. According to Margus Toomla, director of the Song and Dance Celebration Foundation, these are not new seats being created, but rather the last remaining tickets that have become available due to canceled reservations. “Tickets will be available via all Piletilevi channels this Friday, June 27 at 12:00 PM,” said Toomla.

In addition to the tickets going on sale Friday, tickets are still available for the opening concert of the Song Celebration. According to the artistic director of the Song Celebration, Heli Jürgenson, the opening concert will take place on Saturday, July 5 after the procession and is dedicated to the dialect regions of the Estonian language. “In the twilight of a summer evening, Sander Joon’s animations will add visual charm to the music, making the concert even more special and spectacular,” Jürgenson noted.

The opening concert will also feature music performed by the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. “ERSO is our national orchestra, and participating in the Song Celebration is not only natural but a very welcome event,” confirmed conductor Olari Elts. “It’s just as important a celebration for us as it is for everyone else – the special sense of occasion and unity with the choirs is something we don’t experience in our everyday performances,” he added.

The performances and concerts of the Song and Dance Celebration will be broadcast live by both the national broadcaster and Postimees. In addition, there will be public screenings in Tallinn and Tartu, where the celebration can be watched on big screens.

The first performance of the Dance Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 3 at 7 PM. The second performance is on July 4 at 11 AM, and the third performance is at 6 PM. The third performance will also be broadcast by the national broadcaster.

A free folk music concert will be held on July 4 at 2 PM on Freedom Square. The Song Celebration’s procession and opening concert will take place on July 5, and the main concert on July 6.
